Featured Wardrobe Stylist of August 2014:
Russel J. Frank
Russel Frank's love and passion for the fashion industry began when he was a Visual Merchandise Manager - from dressing mannequins and window displays to creating a story with apparel in a retail environment.
Russel attended the Art Institute of Phoenix, majoring in Fashion Marketing, and earned his degree in 2011. His first "real" industry-related experience was working as a Stylist on the style team for Phoenix Fashion Week in January 2010. After networking with industry contacts, he branched out to independently produce fashion show events in the night life scene around the Phoenix metropolitan and Scottsdale, AZ areas. As a freelance wardrobe stylist he began to dabble in styling photo shoots, runway shows, and editorial shoots.
Shortly after graduating, Russel relocated to Las Vegas to continue his career in the fashion industry. He quickly jumped on board to join the production team of Fashion Week Las Vegas in August 2012, where he started as an Intern and Volunteer Coordinator. Russel now holds the position of Stylist Director for the Fashion Week Las Vegas Runway, where his eye for casting and scouting models has been recognized by industry professionals throughout Las Vegas.
Outside of Fashion Week, Russel continues to work as a freelance wardrobe stylist. His sense of styling ranges from menswear, womenswear, high fashion, editorial, avant-garde to simple chic, bold, mixing patterns and prints. His work has been shown in various publications (both online and print) and he has been featured on multiple press sites, blogs, online magazine editions, and has received awards for his eye for fashion.
